Remasked exists to help you protect your identity. These rules keep the product safe for everyone. They are short on purpose — read them before you upload.
This Content Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service.
The core rule
Your face, your persona, your photos. You may only generate a persona from your own face and only swap your own face in the photos you upload.
What is allowed
Replace your own face with your own persona in your own photos. Any context — content creation, social media, dating profiles, professional headshots — is permitted.
Photos with multiple people are fine. Remasked swaps only your face; other faces in the image are not affected.
What is prohibited
The following uses will result in immediate account termination. Serious violations are reported to law enforcement.
- Impersonation. Using Remasked to create a persona that resembles a specific other person — celebrity, public figure, or private individual. The persona must be generated from your own face.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery. Placing any person's face onto sexually explicit content without their consent. This is a federal crime under the TAKE IT DOWN Act.
- Content involving minors. Any upload or output depicting a minor in any context. Detected content is removed immediately and reported to NCMEC and law enforcement.
- Fraud and deception. Using a persona to impersonate someone for financial fraud, identity theft, or to deceive others into believing they are interacting with a specific real person.
- Harassment. Using Remasked outputs to harass, threaten, or intimidate any person.
How we enforce this
- Violations result in suspension or permanent termination at Remasked's sole discretion.
- No refund for remaining subscription quota or top-up credits on a terminated account.
- CSAM and non-consensual intimate imagery are reported to law enforcement.
Takedown requests and reporting
If you believe Remasked has been used to create content that violates this policy, infringes your rights, or if you want to report suspected misuse, email support@remasked.com. We will respond to takedown requests within 48 hours as required by the TAKE IT DOWN Act.
